Care Instructions
Nubuck leather combines sustainability with robustness - with the right care, it remains water-repellent, supple and durable. Here's how:
- First remove loose dirt and dust with a soft brush or lint-free cloth. Use the Cleaner to gently remove localised dirt
- Apply the Deep Conditioner 220 ml evenly to the clean and dry leather. Use a soft cloth or sponge to gently massage the conditioner into the leather. This treatment nourishes the leather, maintains its suppleness and enhances its water-repellent properties.
- Finally protect the leather with the waterproofing spray Carbon Pro (400 ml). Spray the spray evenly onto the surface from a distance of 20-30 cm.

Der Bär Bergkomfort Wanderstiefel 2.0 ist eine teure Enttäuschung
Als ich mich für den Bär Bergkomfort Wanderstiefel 2.0 entschied, investierte ich bewusst über 300 Euro in der Erwartung, ein absolutes Premium-Produkt zu erhalten. Die Marke Bär wirbt mit Qualität, Komfort und Langlebigkeit. Meine persönlichen Erfahrungen zeichnen jedoch ein völlig anderes Bild und führen zu dem klaren Fazit: Dieser Schuh ist sein Geld nicht wert, und die Firma Bär liefert nicht die Qualität ab, die man bei diesem Preis erwarten darf. Gekauft habe ich die Schuhe im Juni 2023. Nach nicht einmal zwei Jahren normaler Nutzung, bei der die Schuhe stets sachgemäß behandelt wurden, traten gravierende Mängel auf, die ein weiteres Benutzen UNMÖGLICH machen. Diese Mängel sind bei einem Produkt dieser Preisklasse schlicht inakzeptabel: GERISSENES FERSENFUTTER: An beiden Schuhen ist das Futter im Fersenbereich gerissen. Dies deutet für mich klar auf ein Material- oder Verarbeitungsproblem hin, nicht auf bloße Abnutzung durch "individuelle Beanspruchung", wie Bär es darstellt. GEBROCHENE HINTERKAPPEN: Gebrochene Hinterkappen: Besonders schwerwiegend ist, dass die Hinterkappen beider Schuhe gebrochen sind. Dies ist ein struktureller Defekt, der die Stabilität und Sicherheit des Schuhs beeinträchtigt und bei einem vermeintlichen Premium-Wanderschuh nicht vorkommen darf. Angesichts dieser Mängel wandte ich mich vertrauensvoll an den Bär Kundenservice und berief mich auf das vollmundige Garantieversprechen des Unternehmens, das auf der Website zu finden ist: "Sollten trotz sachgemäßer Behandlung Qualitätsmängel auftreten, verpflichten wir uns – bei Rücksendung des beanstandeten Artikels zusammen mit der Rechnung – zu kostenloser Nachbesserung, Umtausch oder gleichwertigem Ersatz." Die Reaktion von Bär war jedoch eine herbe Enttäuschung und steht in krassem Widerspruch zu diesem Versprechen. Nach Einsendung und Begutachtung der Schuhe wurden sämtliche Mängel pauschal als "Beanspruchung", "Gebrauchsabnutzung" und Folge normalen Verschleißes abgetan. Es wurde behauptet, es liege "kein Material- oder Verarbeitungsfehler" vor. Die Risse im Futter wurden auf Schweiß und Reibung geschoben, der Sohlenabrieb als normal dargestellt und die gebrochenen Hinterkappen gar als mögliches Resultat falschen Anziehens interpretiert. Leider scheint das ein häufig vorkommender Mangel bei diesem Produkt zu sein, wie man den Bewertungen hier entnehmen kann. Es ist für mich nicht nachvollziehbar, wie ein Wanderschuh für über 300 Euro, der weniger als zwei Jahre alt ist, derartige Mängel aufweisen kann, die dann lediglich als normale Abnutzung gelten sollen. Insbesondere die beidseitigen, identischen Schäden am Futter und die gebrochenen Hinterkappen sind für mich klare Indizien für Qualitätsmängel, für die Bär gemäß seinem eigenen Versprechen hätte einstehen müssen. Die Firma Bär verweigerte jedoch jegliche Form der Nachbesserung, des Umtausches oder eines Ersatzes und schickte die defekten Schuhe zurück. Dieses Verhalten empfinde ich als kundenunfreundlich und als klare Missachtung der eigenen Garantiebedingungen. Ein Premium-Anspruch definiert sich nicht nur über den Preis, sondern vor allem über Produktqualität und den Service im Problemfall – beides hat Bär hier schmerzlich vermissen lassen.

Toller Wanderschuh
Habe mir den Schuh für meine Südamerika Reise bestellt um 10 Stunden Wanderungen in Patagonien zu machen. Der Komfort ist super, es drückt selbst beim runter gehen und nach 10 Stunden wandern nichts. Normal stößt man vor allem beim bergab gehen immer vorne hin, bei diesem Schuh nicht. Bisher eine klare Empfehlung!

Good boots, Poor customer service
The boots failed after 9 months. The leather liners inside the boot have shrunk and pulled off the stitching around the foot bed at the toe of the boot after only 9 months of recreational use. Boots were purchased 10/04/2024. I have emailed customer support several times since 20/01/2025 and have not received a reply, no customer support. The boots were great, I would try them again. But since they only last 9 months and there is no help from the manufacturer, I do not recommend.

Sehr gut, aber...
Ich liebe das freie Gefühl in diesen Schuhen. Ich habe sie täglich beim Gassigehen in den Wald an. Sie werden zwar manchmal nass aber das ist so bei Lederschuhen, aber mit den Fahrradgamaschen von Vaude kann ich das sehrwohl vermeiden. Aber: Die Nähte lösen sich auf -vorne und sogar im Achillessehnenbereich - so etwas habe ich noch bei keinem Wanderschuh gesehen. In diesem Preissegment könnte man sich schon bessere Qualität der Nähte erwarten. Trotzdem werde ich mir wieder ein gleiches Paar bestellen und hoffen dass die Nähte diesesmal länger halten.

Entäuschung
Nachdem ich mit meinem Bär Outdoor Schuhen sehr zufrieden bin, bestellte ich mir ein paar Stiefel. Die Lieferung erfolgte binnen zwei Tagen. Nachdem eintreffen am 02.12.2023 zog ich die Stiefel direkt an und ging eine Runde mit dem Hund. Nach der Rückkehr musste ich leider feststellen, dass eine Befestigungsöse der Schnürsenkel ausgerissen war. Schuhe für 319€ werde deshalb nicht behalten und ASAP zurück senden

Guter Schuh mit leider einem eklatanten Makel
Ich habe den Schuh ein knappes Jahr beinahe täglich getragen und muss sagen, dass er in Sachen Bequemlichkeit, Passform und Fusskomfort absolut top ist. Leider war bereits nach einem Jahr die Freude über diese Vorzüge verblassen, da aufgrund von Design oder Einsparungen Abstriche an der Robustheit gemacht wurden. Da die Schnürsenkel im unteren Bereich statt durch robuste Metallösen durch Textilschlaufen geführt werden, entsteht dort sehr viel Reibung und es war bereits nach nicht allzu langer Tragezeit klar, dass dies die Schwachstelle der Schuhe ist. Wie zu erwarten sind schließlich die Textilschlaufen gerissen, sodass eine Schnürung der Schuhe nicht mehr möglich war. Schade. Bin bisher immer sehr zufrieden mit Bär-Schuhen gewesen. Meine bisherigen Schuhe haben meist drei bis fünf Jahre gehalten und das muss bei den aufgerufen Preisen auch drin sein.

Sicherer und sehr gut gedämpfter Auftritt
Für meine Füße sind diese Wanderstiefel optimal. Ich fühle mich sicher damit. (Meine Füße sind operiert mit diversen Gelenkversteifungen.) Ich habe sie sofort ausprobiert. Die 7km bergauf und bergab auch über steinige Strecken hatte ich das Gefühl der Fuß ist gut geschützt. Einzig das nasse Kopfsteinpflaster bergauf war etwas rutschig. Sonst aber rundum zufrieden.

Very Comfortable
These are by far and away the most comfortable boots I have found to accomodate my bunion and hammer toe (though I do use an aftermarket insole for additional support). Durable for challenging hiking? I guess only time will tell but I hope so as it will be hard to go back to a traditional boot after these. Delivery to Australia only took 9 days from submitting the order to unpacking the boots - exceptional. Curiously the tan leather v2.0 version i have is 100g a pair lighter than the black nubuck V.0 pair I purchased when I was in Germany.

Nasse Füße
Ich hatte mit diesen Schuhen bereits nach einer Stunde Spaziergang im Regen nasse Füße. Ein Kollege der mit mir Spazieren war, hat gemeint, dass man das mit solchen "no-name Schuhen" schon akzeptieren muss. Ich habe mir nicht getraut ihm zu sagen, dass ich für diese Schuhe € 317,00 + € 6,00 für den Versand bezahlt habe.
